/ About the project
The 2026 season arrived during a moment of contraction and uncertainty for Major League Rugby. With fewer teams and a quieter cultural footprint, the challenge wasn’t volume—it was presence.
I helped develop a visual system focused on pacing, legibility, and identity under pressure—giving the game space to breathe while still feeling intentional and contemporary. The work treated design not as amplification, but as structure: something steady enough to carry attention when momentum was fragile.
The goal wasn’t to reinvent rugby, but to reinforce it—building a system that could perform in real time while quietly reasserting the league’s identity during a period of transition.
